Felicity Conlan

Speech Pathologist (MSpeechPath)

Primary Teacher (BEdPrim)

Felicity Conlan is an experienced, dual-qualified speech pathologist and primary teacher with a passion for helping children thrive.

Since 2012, Felicity has been instrumental in the creation and establishment of the Speech Therapy Department at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. In her dual roles as both Speech Pathologist and Primary Teacher, she has worked diligently to integrate evidence-based practices into the school's speech therapy program. Felicity takes immense pride in her contributions to the school and now extends her expertise to assist other institutions in implementing effective speech therapy programs. As a trailblazer in the field, she was among the first speech pathologists in Melbourne to be directly employed by a school.

With a particular focus on kinder and primary-aged children, Felicity is dedicated to improving functional communication and enhancing the quality of life for her young clients. She firmly believes that early intervention is the key to success and works tirelessly to support her students' development.

Felicity's natural rapport with children and her engaging therapy techniques make her a trusted and valued professional.

Additionally, Felicity is the author of The Light Was Always There, a children's book that offers hope and encouragement during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her dedication to both her craft and the well-being of children shines through in everything she does.
